No, the family left KS long ago. The grandparents were born in KS or maybe OK/AR. Obama's mother was born in KS but very early in her life they moved first to Seattle, then to HA. Grandma worked for banks and they seem to move as she got jobs with different banks. Grandpa was a salesman I think, and I think her jobs were better than his usually. After the Dunhams moved to HA, Obama's mom went to the U of HA, met a foreign student, got pregnant.
