NASHUA, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 26, 2000--

iJunket Features the Press Unveiling of the Film Hollow Man Starring

Kevin Bacon and Elisabeth Shue

CUseeMe Networks (NASDAQ: CUSM, news, msgs), the leading provider of voice and visual
communications solutions for the Internet, announced today that it is hosting the first-ever live, fully
interactive online film press junket, utilizing its award-winning CUseeMe Web technology.

The online event, coined an iJunket, will be hosted by Sony Pictures Entertainment and DNA Studio, a
web developer and visionary of the project, on July 29th. The film to be featured in the first iJunket will
be Sony Pictures' Hollow Man, starring Kevin Bacon and Elisabeth Shue and directed by Paul
Verhoeven. This is the first in a series of iJunket events that will be used to host the press events of
future studio films.

"With the ijunket, we can accommodate the needs of Internet sites as well as potentially provide a
great deal of flexibility to those cast and crew members unable to attend the traditional junket," said
Sony Pictures Entertainment vice president of worldwide marketing Dwight Caines.

DNA Studio used the CUseeMe Web technology to develop a number of interactive web sites that
make up the interface for this new type of online press event. CUseeMe Web enables live audio, video,
text chat and conference control features to be embedded in a standard web page. The event will
enable over 100 entertainment journalists to go to a web site and participate remotely in promotional
movie press activities. Select journalists will have the opportunity to do live (in real-time) one-on-one
interviews with the movie stars through the web site. There will also be a full press conference-style
round table in which journalists will submit questions through a moderator. Selected questions will be
forwarded to the interviewer and answered by the stars live during the event. Participating journalists
will be able to see and hear the stars discuss the movie, answer questions and submit additional
questions simultaneously using text chat.

"The ijunket will enable studios to dramatically reduce the cost of reaching entertainment sites and
their fans with original content while achieving greater depth and reach with both the online and offline
press," said Chris Gibbin, chief operating officer of DNA Studio. "We're delighted to be partnering with
Sony and CUseeMe Networks."

"DNA Studio is doing something truly exciting with our CUseeMe Web technology, and we expect this
to set a new precedent in the industry," stated Rachel Cameron, director of sales for CUseeMe
Networks. "This is the first real-time, interactive press event which truly humanizes Internet
communications well beyond current streaming and delayed technologies. With our technology and
services offering, DNA expects to facilitate additional venues such as music events, town meetings and
live interviews. The opportunities are vast, as this innovate spirit combines traditional lines of
communication into online forums."

Hollow Man opens nationwide in theaters August 4th.
