I had problems all last month, we have had a lot of rain here in DC but also many drops with or without rain. My router got fried as well. Computer Learning thread was talking about lots of ping attacks. Finally, Comcast pushed a new service app down to my machine without my asking and it installed itself. I was not happy and deleted it. Tech support said it was not supposed to do that but...it did.
