One of the ironies of the war in Iraq is that the left has
    made war with Iran more likely by discrediting the victory
    in Iraq. They have been trying to discredit that victory 
    since Baghdad was taken, and they have given hope to the 
    insurgents who are relying on them for a victory they know
    they cannot achieve in the battle space in Iraq. This has 
    led the Iranian regime to think that the US lacks the will
    to take them on so they are more aggressively pushing 
    their nuke program. If the left had accepted the victory 
    and supported the liberation of Iraq and made clear it 
    supported the liberation of Iran our enemies would be 
    either more compliant or more desperate.
