If Cheney decides to step down, and he might due to health issues, I would not be surprised at all to see Giuliani step in as VP. That would give him the grooming he would need for his Presidential run in 2008. I have thought about this and think it is a fantastic plan. Cheney could still serve as an advisor the Bush in some way. And he could make the rounds on all the Sunday talk shows...he is so good on those!
