Q1 release should come with warning for Q2. Don't know where all the optimism is coming from. COMS will not meet number this Q and even if some companies (i.e., ORCL) can meet target for this quarter by squeezing out some earnings, Q2 will definitely be a bad one for most of the tech sectors. There is more downside risk now than before. Do you have specific iniformation about Q2 or are you just extrapolating? Each company has a different customer base and if my understanding is correct, Ascend's is in the 5% range as Cascade had almost no presence there at all. In fact Ashby said they're working hard to build their presence in Asia/Pacific. I'm not suggesting the tech sector won't have a bad second quarter --- I don't have that sort of information --- but I would suggest we look at each company individually. Just my take. Pat
