If we believe in global warming but it turns out to be a hoax, we're safe. Right up until the next cooling phase and we hear about the coming ice age (again) and someone suggests we set all the coal mines on fire. I noticed that this has become the new way for global warming zealots to sell their snake oil. Most zealots want you to believe so you'll be "saved" with them.
