A former office holder myself (after two terms I got out--couldn't stand the culture As did I! I wasn't a good team player. I also think we've been 'gated' enough. Do you folks? Absolutely, that is why I don't want to risk another Watergate by electing Gore! Anyway, it seems patently clear that if the Gore camp had a mole system within the Bush campaign, that the Bush mock debate tapes would have been utilized as a tool for Gore's debate preparation. I have no objective way to know that the information from the emails, tapes, or notes were not used. Doesn't it make sense if they were using a mole system that the debate tapes would NOT have been turned in to the FBI? Perhaps they sent them to the wrong person! Someone who still has a political future and wasn't willing to be part of the corruption. Congressman Thomas Downey I believed did the honorable thing! I bet some in the Gore camp wish he hadn't. Fact is, the Gore campaign didn't use the tapes. Did it? As I stated earlier on this thread I have only Gore's campaign's word on this! Where there is one copy there are probably more! This is the same campaign that had to rush two different affidavits out because the first one on this mole issue was proved false within the first 24 hours. This is why I say a cloud will always hang over these debates. Are there any Republican critics among you who view what Congressman Thomas Downey did as honorable? Who says we are all Republicans? If you haven't noticed: I have never said anything negative about Congressman Downey on this thread. I have seen no evidence that says he is part of the problem.
