John, *"IBM to Introduce $999 PC To Compete With Rivals", today, will be made by Acer Group, with a "166mhz processor", I assume Intel as if it were AMD or Cyrix it would have been "news" and headlined. My guess is that it is their own, Cyrix designed chip. Joe
