Jake, 3000 dead from a Terrorist Attack? How does that compare with the number of Americans dying from heart disease or cancer in one year? How does it compare to the number dying in motor vehicle accidents in one year? should we spend proportionately on those threats like we do on terrorism threat?

IMO opinion you should apologize, in your opinion you see no need.

The magnitude of the attack is not the issue, it is the terror that results. Coffee shop, movie theatre, and mall bombings are probably in our future. There is no way to predict these and probably no way of preventing them.

Meanwhile, Bush wants us seized with fear because it helps him politically.

That statement is from someone who has gone off the deep end in his thinking. It's just plain stupid.
The only party that plays on fear is the liberal democratic party. They've been doing it for years.
