Topro PR: Many of us have been disappointed that there hasn't been a steady stream of contract announcements since the July conference call. Lots of big names were dropped into that conversation. The CD launch sets up another big PR expectation. Consider the legal implications of TPRO announcing that "ABC Company" has hired TPRO to do Y2K work in 1997. Then comes Jan., 2000. ABC Company has a date glitch, and fails to deliver parts to XYZ Company. So XYZ Company sues ABC, and uses as evidence the 1997 press release from TPRO. "ABC Co. knew about the problem 3 yrs. in advance," says the lawyer for XYZ. So positive news now could turn into negative news in the future. Were I a TPRO client, I'd want TPRO to keep my name out of the papers.
