I'm no fool. You are just engaging in what you think is a higher class of ad hominem attack. No matter how verbose, redundant or overly alliterate you think my style is (Hey! I get tired!) you can't denigrate away any of my points.

There is real anger here, but there is also a message that your side needs to hear. I have a sense of entitlement from the 2000 election that no 18th century statistical trick can take away. And it got worse with the transparent agenda towards Iraq (but not because of Afghanistan!) If Bush was capable of understanding America, and if his rabid rabble had even the slightest sense of who their neighbor is, then I wouldn't be wasting my time. Clinton has the common smarts to appreciate when the opposition has validity. He often embraced some of the other side's goals. You might say he stole them, I don't care. But he wasn't even a "Wartime President". This president spends too much time basking in partisan praise while whipping the goons into attack mode.

Let's go back to the Madrid bombings. What if the guy had gumption to immediately address the American people and had said "Whatever your politics, join me out on the street tonight for a candlelight vigil in support of our ally. Let us remind the world that we Americans remember those who are sacrificed in our common fight. And let millions of us mourn as did our true friends 911 days before. Tonight we are all citizens of Spain.

Now THAT would have been a leader! Hell, he might have even saved an alliance or two. Maybe not. Instead we got the usual righteous cowboy crap from this administration about how everyone else is so easily cowed. Followed by more lecturing to a country that has known non-stop terrorism for decades.

OT: Nice on the yuk, yuk, yuck though. Even my evil twin, the one with the ear on the other side of my head that you accuse me of sending coded messages to, even he likes a little pun now and then.
