In point of fact, the industry is lobbying to get more acreage opened to leasing. Not demanding it (they 're not generally run by liberals), asking though. Oh please......there is nothing nice about your guys. Nothing at all. You think the oil industy is run by JR Ewings or something. You do know that all the foreign rigs and most of the domestic rigs are rented into the forseeable future. Yes, but theres a lag between leasing and drilling and more rigs are being constructed at this time. Yes, and your point is what? A current tight rig market is no justification for preventing OCS leasing.
