Charles, your response begs the question (in the proper sense of that phrase rather than the one everyone uses).

It may well be that the channel is seeing no US3's because the plentiful supply of US3's is being diverted into some alternative direct channel that Sun has set up. However, Sanford Bernstein has just put out a note that explicitly says they're concerned that the channel is seeing no US3's because there *are* no US3's and may not be any for some time to come.

If there is a street misunderstanding of the US3 availability roadmap, Sun should proactively and aggressively clear that up, even if some resellers are complaining about not getting machines that they're not supposed to be getting.
