Dave: Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you. I see your concerns about the Bard acquisition. The bottom line for me is that I believe AVE can do more with those assets than Bard was able to. We've already touched on the benefits of bundling, and while I don't believe it is crucial for AVE survival, it certainly can't hurt. The rest of the story is solid. good product pipeline, strong management, excellent technology, growing market. I still think the valuation is absurd, and stand by my comment that crushing earnings by .11 cents deserves better than a 3 1/2 point sell-off. Regards, mmeggs
