It's just one forecast out of dozens...but the pedigree is impressive enough to pay attention to it. A strong cycle 25 and all that that means for flares and CMEs vs. a weak magnetosphere = the "disastrous" part. It'll be a while yet before we know if they're right. More than 6 months. "It's always something" is getting to be a more serious phrase.
