My Uncle Jethro just made me and his other nephews and nieces a proposition. Tomorrow he's going to give us either: a)20 ounces of gold or b)20 SPY. This time next year, if what we've chosen is worth the same or more (in USD, Uncle J's a big patriot), we can keep what he gave us. If it's worth less, we have to give him back the original investment. Which should I take?
