Yeah, apparently she didn't even eat one, she just saw them in her food. The first time she told me the story, she said she spit out the food and saw a roach in it, but she didn't say that at the deposition. Oh, well.
The other one is religious discrimination, a lady who worked at the post office, one of the big mail-sorting facilities, and got more devout, and asked to be given Sunday off, and they wouldn't let her take Sunday off, so she used her vacation and then took it off without permission, but they never fired her. Their excuse for not changing her schedule is that they needed her on Sunday, but she hasn't worked on Sunday since 1993. Since it's the government, they have to accommodate her if they can. |
