Not quite true, either, Sydney. Both parties have moved to the left over the past four decades with far-left liberals going completely off the map. The Democratic party bears no resemblance whatsoever to the JFK "we will pay any price, bear any burden" era; the GOP occupies that space, for better or worse--MK--
