I was wrong with the israeli reaction. There will be none this time so perhaps Hamas has given private assurances to israel. I tend to doubt that but who knows. Also israel has called iran, syria and hamas the new axis of terror. So if israel is leaving hamas alone and cant do to much to Iran at this time, that leaves syria, everybodys target along with its hizbollah ally. There are some folks in israel and in washington who might want to take that shot at hizbollah as a battle there is viewed as inevitable anyway.
PS In any case Olmert still has to gain sharon type credibility so if he is being cautious this time, next suicide attack he will go bonkers imho.
