Hi Duane, It's nice to just be on the sunny side of $20! It will be even nicer sometime in the future. Right now I'm back in the black on my last purchase at $24 and it makes the whole account a much happier place to visit!

I'll be much happier when I've had a chance to rebuild my overall Cash Reserves. Right now it feels like running down the highway the the fuel gauge on E and not knowing where the next filling station might be.

My race car has a 12 gallon tank, but its effective "racing" capacity is quite a bit less because of a fuel pickup problem I've never been able to solve. In an endurance race we have to make a decision on when to refill to keep the car running competitively. If we misjudge, then I have to slow down a bit or the engine bogs at high RPM.

The severity of this Bear market caught me in a "misjudgement" of how much "fuel" I needed. AIM generally will be able to buy into a decline of about 50% in share price assuming that it has about 50% cash reserves at the peak. Well, with an 85% drop in VTSS from the previous peak, my approx. 50% reserves got stretched to the limit. Unfortunately I didn't get to participate in those lovely sub $20 shares. I'm jealous!

Because of the internal settings I'm using with my VTSS AIM account, last year I sold a few shares at a high point of $106+ and then didn't start to buy any shares back until about $60. That seemed like an effective discount to protect myself. Wow! No wonder the fuel tank ran dry!

Best regards, Tom
