Skeeter, you are missing the point. Forget the taxes, thats off in
the wrong direction.

Depreciation has nothing to do with the cash you receive or spend.
It just effects what your stated pretax earnings are.

Try this:

If you remove depreciation from MU statement, you would see that
they made a nice profit and had a positive cash flow.

Factor in the depreciation and you will see that they now lose
money but nothing else changes. They still have the positive cash
flow, only the earnings change.
