old saying thoes that laugh last laugh hardest..I will indeed keep
my eye on that that, "and" if I see that happen I will compleatly
surrender and consider myself the fool.
The one thing I may not have got across, is that I don't see AOL
falling to the floor any time soon, seems you may think I'm saying
her doom is around the next corner , but no..my position is in
Jan98..and I'm considering Jan99..the short term stuff I play is
on her up/downs and based more on profit taking when she hits
20 to 23% above her 50 day moving average, here latly the specialist
have run up the premiums on thoes options that I'm side lined on
the short term puts, keep in mind I have bought calls ( once ) but
I'm not above getting them and regret I was not fast enough when
she touched 53 not long ago.
My longer term out look is very negitive on AOL.."HOWEVER" I have my
eye on one thing and it worries me a lot..with the "pull" these
guys seem to have, and their ability to get out of tight spots,
and IMO rip off their customers, I wonder about them greasing the
right hands and getting a big government contract..that would save
their rear you know..and I have not ruled it out, but of course
if they managed it I would likly move to Cuba and live under Castro,
than to stay here, as a turn like that would convince me that there
is no hope for our system ever getting past the stage of selling Justice to the highest bidder.
