The market is all worked up about a slowdown in tech spending. This article is one of the few I've seen that quantifies the problem:

"The survey found corporate net planned increase in overall IT spending for the next year dropped to 56 percent from the 78 percent expected by technology managers just a month ago."

I believe PC makers are projecting increases around half of that 56 percent, or even less. That means non-PC expenditures could see growth above that number; I would expect Sun to capture its share of the growth. Of course, planned increases could continue to drop; I guess that's the fear.

This, too, will pass.
