I personally don't agree what you said.

I recently have put a lot of attention to what I owned on AEOS. I myself have been pretty sure when I sold 1000 shares of AEOS. The volume will add 1000 to the amount. The market maker not necessary sell my share to somebody else at the same time I sold it. It could be true that when I sell and other buy and recorded as double. But the volume not necessary divide to 2 so that buyer and seller are equal volume. If market maker feel they like to keep stocks for a while until better price. They can buy more stocks and push the stocks higher and make better profit at later days.
