It seems to me that most americans are far more concerned about who will become Donald Trump's apprentice tonight or who will win American Idol or Survivor reality tv bull shit shows. They could give a rat's ass about freedom or our troops overseas in combat. This aint the country that the greatest generation defended during WW2. Hell most folks dont even care about 9/11 anymore. Thats why we are well on our way to losing the WOT if we dont all wake up. I am exaggerating above but it just seems to me that we dont have what it takes. Some sacrifice is needed at home. During vietnam we compained about LBJ and guns and butter. At least butter is food--now its guns and debt by govt and individuals designed to buy material goods while are boys and girls die in iraq in horrible conditions with little renumeration, financial or otherwise. Why do 9/11 families get six figure settlements and dead or wounded GIs get zilch? Mike@justgotabitemotional.com
