Highlights: "embedded Internet" including remote monitoring (ie. office equipment, utility meeters) alliance with UB Networks.

=====================================================================
If the NEST technology isn't the solution for integrated utility meeter reading, they also have a relationship/partner with INTS and their "embedded Internet" technology. Perhaps the two technologies can be eaisily integrated together? Folks this is the Future for remote 'smart' monitoring systems and Novell is currently all over it. Let's not loose our technology lead and continue our R&D and partnerships.

Keep your eye's open to the new term "Embedded Internet" and perhaps "Embedded Intranet". This technology is going to explode in the future as many new applications are currently under development. Think of it as smart intelligent boxes at the end of a network. Possible future applications include, smart utility meeters, smart cable/modem set-top boxes, smart vending appliances, enviromental and security 'event' control systems, smart city irrigation systems, even automatic traffic stop light controls etc.).
