Considering the fact that Brown & Co is owned by Chase Manhattan, I suspect the could offer checking and nice margin rates as well. If you do volume trading, Brown is even better at $17/trade or something like that. You get 10% off regular rates.

Yes lawyering can be time consuming and counterproductive when the market is booming. I have been doing much more trading lately. The game plan is to trade full time and do some other things next Spring, and terminate the law career. We will see how it goes.

Just got another dog yesterday, an Irish Wolfhound. Now we have four dogs and my girlfriend will be gone tomorrow. That should make for some fun trading. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.
