I called bush a puppet of rove/card/condi after watching the press conference and the way he seemed to be getting psychic messages from them during the questioning. Who will control the kerry puppet--dean, nader and kennedy or biden, bayh and bob kerrey? We will have a better idea if he follows safire's (and berman's) suggestion and names his shadow cabinet. At least his Wash Post op ed piece on monday was encouraging. We may be putting too much stock in parties. Within the democratic parties there are some figures far more imprressive than most republicans who havent really been able to find a unifying leader since reagan. Scoop Jackson lives but alas so does Jessie. Mike
