Where I work we have email and I email news and research to my clients all at once. It all depends on your broker and the firm they are at. Not all firms have access to email because they have to set up a system to monitor all outgoing and incoming messages. And, if you don't make a fuss about the service you want, your broker never knows what you want. And if you are an active short term investor, your broker can fax you and 200 other people the latest press releases. If that doesn't work, call up the company and get on their press release fax or email list and they will fax it to you at the same time they fax it to everyone else. You might even get it faster than your broker. The bottom line is that if you are paying the higher commissions, you should get the best service from any broker.
