"Hey CJ, what's a typical July electric bill in Texas these days?" Last year, mine ran $240. But, I have a high efficiency unit, insulated my attic and installed a fan to exhaust it. Plus, my house dates to the 1930s and is small by today's standards. Someone with 4000 sq. feet is going to have a much higher bill.
