An asset but not one who makes decisions apart from the President. Uhm, Romney? I wouldn't mind him as a VP tho his hair is just too-too for my taste, but he ain't been elected has he? No... a VP should be in charge of nothing. they are not elected to do anything but take over if the Pres dies. And National Securicty? That is very much for the Pres to do. For Bush to do. He is not a puppet.
