Health insurers are no more. People who sell health insurance go find other jobs. Marketing costs are virtually eliminated because there is only one health plan and the govt. is the payer.......just like Medicare. Medicare has no sales people. Medicare has an overhead of 3%. Medicare is non-profit. Medicare is considered efficient by non-partisan reviewers. Single-payer systems basically function like Medicare does. Health insurance companies aren't nationalized. They cease to exist. It's called stripping out the middleman. Aren't you a capitalist???
