thanks for the article. I lack the ability to tell you whether the market as a whole is high or low. However going back to what he was saying about dividends, it would seem to me that compared to bonds the large cap that pay dividends are not overpriced at this time. if i had a choice between microsoft and a 10 year bond i would prefer microsoft. Im sorry i didnt see that article 40 years ago where at the end he talks about the advantages of speculating in the arena of mergers, spinoffs and reorganizations.
