Maybe 10 Trillion isn't a huge problem to you, to me it is.

The $10T is computed over an infinity time line...the present value of that money is 20 fold. If computed over the next 75 years, the $10T becomes $3.5T...again the PV of that money is much higher...this is not a huge problem.

By the way, if adjustments are made to the ceiling of income on which the contribution is levied, the increase may not be as high on low wage earners, if any at all.
