Well at least you can take comfort in knowing AB suffered with his shareholders in 1998, he only received a 4% salary increase to 216,329. Ooops, wait a minute here, it seems his performance also warranted a 375% bump in bonus to $294,250, or if you prefer, fully 15% of CUBE's net earnings increase over 1997.
