Pravin, re: article about 266 MHz mobile K6 Here's some points against the article: 1. The K6-266m has NOT BEEN RELEASED YET. Why don't they compare a K6-233m to a Tillamook 233. Or better yet, compare a Compaq notebook using the K6-233m to a Compaq notebook using the Tillamook 233. 2. There's no indication that they actually measured power dissipation -- they say the K6 "has" as power dissipation of... Did anybody bother to measure the power dissipation, or take temperature measurements rather than just repeat specs? 3. You are probably right that the K6-266m is not quite ready for prime time since there were problems with the software drivers. But then again, its not SUPPOSED to be a product yet. Petz
