I think that you may be confusing the Syjet with the EZFlyer. The Syjet is the >1gig removable cartridge drive from Syquest that is supposed to be faster than the JAZ and will be Jaz's primary competitor. The EZFlyer, a 230 meg removable is supposed to be the product that gives the Zip competition. The LS-120 is not even a murmur in silicon valley and will be a dismal failure. The LS-120 is too little too late.

An interesting thing about the EZFlyer is it's lack of supply. My belief is that Syquest is holding back resources, liquidating old stock for cash and pumping everything they've got into the Syjet product due to be released late summer/fall. If this is the strategy, they have a chance of capturing a chunk of the 1gig removable market.
