Sure. As far as we know, they are. Emotional arguments can be made against it, but the company seems happy enough with its recruiting. Remember that Apple is much more popular on college campuses than in corporate boardrooms. Also, Apple is where a lot of the "good stuff" gets cooked up.

Rumors of the demise of Apple's technological prowess are greatly exaggerated IMHO. It's those twenty-somethings that dream up a lot of that "good stuff." And Apple has been a pretty good place to get something innovative built. They've lost some older guys but have added a lot of younger ones. The press sees this as a sign of weakness. I don't, quite frankly.
