It hasn't changed. It works the way it's ALWAYS worked. The people who cooked it up weren't idiots. They assumed that it would run into demographic problems, which is why the system is flexible. My contributions helped take care of my parents, and your contributions will help with yours, or others ( like ME!).

You're just a whiny, poor excuse for an American and a man. Be a MAN Ten. You're going to pay in all your working life anyway. The (R)'s won't be ascendant again in my lifetime. When you retire, YOU'LL collect.
