The big joke of the day is that I picked the biggest winner of the day in a down market. Last night as I was jesting about stocks with similar symbols, I joked about not mistaking NRID with NVID and IDID.
I also said that IDID was the real "penny stock" trading at $0.01
Guess What, in a horrendous downmarket day, my IDID pick of the night :):):):):) went up 100%!
Read it and weeps guys and gals. Best pick of the day. I shoulda listened to myself and bought 10,000,000 shares and cashed out with a $100K profit!!!! (Only problem was it only traded 500,000 shares today). OH WELL!!!!
Speaking of crappy days in the market, all bets are off concerning my portfolio published. Too may good opportunities in the ones I rotated out of. Time to get back in on some of them for another ride. Kinda screws up the list, but what is more important, a correct list or having the correct stocks?
I haven't really focused on the opportunities (gotta go home first) but AMAT,LRCX,CFMT,ONTK,PLAB,KLAC are looking extra nice.
ALYD,CRUS,MTSN,ASYT,GGNS held on real well for the day, considering the market nonsense today.
Buying opportunities for UTEK,WFR,ADPT exist but not for me. They all would still be averaging up and I have enough already.
Late tonight I will share a list of solid buying oportunities to add to a long term portfolio or to take some nice profits over the course of the year. What I do not know, like others, is whether today's trash in the market will roll over into tomorrow. Need to watch real close to see if even better opportunities will present themselves. I am into some cash from the recent rotation but not as much as I would like, given the opportunities.
