In some ways we are worse then Greece. Greece is already in austerity mode and so is Ireland. In Ireland for example, paycuts in between 5% and 10% were introduced for public sector employees in addition to cut in benefits.These countries have a liquidity problem which the US does not have. What we all have in common however is a solvency problem.
