FWIW, Given the level and stakes involved in the negotiations, any news source should be considered a pawn in the game at this point in time. Do not allow yourself to fall prey and be whipsawed. Reading Thinking Strategically by Dixit & Nalebluff or You Can Negotiate Anything by Cohen would probably provide better insight and be of long lasting benefit to you in many endeavors.
