All you need to know is this:ATHM has access to 58 million people and it's growing.I switched over and so did my friends + their book as far as the eye can see. Just you wait this baby is ready for orbit.

Your right -- that is all you know judging from your OBLIVION posts.
Are you reading what your posting? ATHM has access to 58 million people - is that some exclusive rights they own that they haven't told anyone? Because the Street would love that kind of info! Hmm ... AOL has access around the globe. How many people does that equate to?

You and your friends switching is not a big deal. Again - look at the target demographic. You and your friends may consider yourself tech savvy, and enjoy all the bells and whistles. That isn't the behavior of the typical mass market consumer -- which is AOL's bread and butter. You ever stop to think why Windows owns the OS market -- when most would argue that UNIX is a more stable environment? Because most consumers wouldn't put up with a command line interface!

Cable was never designed to be two way. If you think ATHM or any other cable provider is gonna have smooth sailing, your kidding yourself. The stock may indeed jump into orbit -- until a better form of access is created.
