"What gives ACTV its biggest boost, is its deal for all of General Instrument Corp.'s (GIC) set-top boxes to have ACTV software built in. General Instrument is one of the two leading manufacturers of digital set-top receivers and an investor in ACTV (Sarnoff Corporation and NextLevel Systems, Inc. are also equity investors in ACTV). Samuels notes that ACTV is in the midst of discussions with Scientific-Atlanta, the other set-top receiver manufacturer." We may not be exclusive, but Samuels notes we are in discussion.
