DJ posted "Just in May and June alone, 64-Mega SDRAM cost $8.00 but the price rose by 10% at the request of Korean and Japanese companies to $9.00." This is nonsense. First off, prices were above $8 in May and June. Second off, $11 is not the current price. Today's retail- not contract, not spot, but retail- is about $8. Where did you get this nonsense from?

by the way 64 MB EDO is now below $60 retail, from some retailers, for the first time, and the SDRAM premium is still at about 20%.
