Pure bullshit
or
Billionaire's mansions

For a poor mouthpiece you sure are quick to shout down the idea proposed by one the world's richest men. Gates pointed out that rich people have assets, that is what they do with there money, they buy assets. He points out the obvious, tax those assets. There isn't a single mansion that is going to be "spent", no yachts, no accumulations of property or art, no jewels or bonds, none will be "spent". Your opening contention that the "sole purpose of money is to be spent" is stupid and vacuous, like most of your statements.

You simply repeat the garbage of the 1% who own the assets "it will eventually get taxed when it is spent ", pure bullshit. Dialogue with a habitual liar is a waste of time so I am just pointing out that what you just said is complete bullshit. I will take the word of one of the world's richest and most philanthropic people over your offering of warmed over tripe (that you pretend is beef) when it comes to taxing the wealthy, simple choice really.
