I think we should all move forward. That means putting the next earnings date in the correct month, among other things. Let's stay here and petition that the old thread go away. It's history!

Carmine. I must admit I have gotten less enthusiastic about Sun recently. (None of it due to twister, however.) My concern has been that I think that Sun has not acknowledged the NT threat adequately, and, Java is great publicity, but it won't mean much to the bottom line. And, it will probably be taken away soon if it is indeed to become a standard. However, then I used the holiday to catch up on my periodical reading, and, actually found a reasonably good amount of positive stuff written about Sun and its business.

Despite my better feelings, I still want some VERY strong response from Sun on what they still will achieve despite these new, and seemingly MUCH more vocal, contenders. I hope that they are not adopting an old General Motors type attitude. You know, the one where "Americans will never buy Japanese." These guys will not go away, and, Gates was just named` Man of the Year by A&E.

Thanks for starting us in the right month and year. I hope we stay here.
