Rexhall reports 1997 first quarter results
Record first quarter sales of $17,665,000
LANCASTER, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 15, 1997--Rexhall Industries Inc.
(NASDAQ:REXL) reported 20 cents per share on earnings of $538,777.
``The reintroduction of our Vision value-priced motorhome and our redesigned Aerbus and
Rexair diesel pushers helped boost sales in the first quarter,'' stated P.J. Theis, director of sales
and marketing.
Rexhall should also complete an approximate 20,000 sq. ft. expansion to its California plant in
June, allowing for greater production capacity. ``This will give us over 200,000 sq. ft. under roof
on 22 acres between our two plants,'' reported William J. Rex, president and chief executive
officer.
Rexhall Industries manufactures four distinctive Class A motorhomes (Aerbus, Rexair, Vision and
RollsAir). The company has grown by offering a product line of top quality construction and
design. Rexhall motorhomes are sold through 100 dealers across the country.
