Here is a list of starting points that I have been trying to use and expand from them, maybe they can generate ideas with you or others who may join so we can get a list of criteria that works.

Nasdaq listed, Under $2 a share, P/E under 25, Sales greater than 5 million a year, no more than 10 million shares outstanding.

That is preliminary searching. Then I am trying to determine other areas to look at to see if they will be profitable in the next year at a +20% range. I try to use a 200 day moving average to see if the stock is trading in a range that I might expect a return to a higher point from when I buy it now; IE: current price is lower than the 200 DMA.

What search criteria are you or anyone else using now that we can expand these into something useful with all our contributions.
